About Us - "MPP's The Place To Be"
The philosophy of Monroe Presbyterian Preschool is based on the needs of preschool children. Preschoolers are open, curious and eager. They are alive with a sense of wonder and have an inherent desire to learn. They need to experiment, to explore and to discover the world around them in order to start to understand their world. Their reality lies in what can be seen, heard, smelled, touched and tasted. For this reason our program is strongly rooted in the developmental growth process.
We believe that a child’s development is sequential. What the child experiences and learns during the preschool years will provide the foundation needed for kindergarten.
We provide an atmosphere that encourages all of the skills needed to help your child grow and have a positive attitude toward school.
MPP works closely with the Monroe Woodbury School System in developing our program so that we can best prepare your child for kindergarten.
